God's Bridge – near the village of Lilyache

God's Bridge is one of the most impressive rock formations in Northwestern Bulgaria – a natural rock bridge, formed by the waters of the Lilyashka Bara river. The place combines raw karst beauty, coolness from the river, and a slight sense of adventure when you stand under the enormous stone arch.

Where is it located?

God's Bridge is located near the village of Lilyache, not far from Vratsa. The site is reached by a dirt road, after which there is a short walk down to the rock bridge and the river. The area is relatively wild and preserved, which makes the walk even more interesting.

What not to miss?

  1. The rock arch – the main natural phenomenon, impressive in its size.
  2. The riverbed under the bridge – rocks, water and coolness, ideal for a short rest.
  3. Cave niches and rock formations – interesting openings and shapes around the bridge.
  4. Panoramic views from above – if you explore the area, you'll see the bridge from above and from the side.
  5. The atmosphere – raw, a little mystical, very different from a standard "forest" walk.

How long does it take?

• Descent from the parking lot to the bridge: about 10–20 minutes one way.
• Exploring, taking photos, and resting: another 30–40 minutes.
Total: allow about 1 – 1.5 hours for a leisurely visit.
