Изходната точка за Опасният зъб е в град Тетевен, в непосредствена близост до автогарата. Оттук започва асфалтов път, който ще те отведе до туристическата спалня „Козница“. След като преминеш спалнята, пътят става черен и води до изворна чешма – чудесно място да се освежиш и да се подготвиш за прехода нагоре. Малко преди чешмата ще забележиш указателни табели, които те насочват към самия „Опасен зъб“. Следвай ги, и скоро ще стигнеш до една от най-завладяващите гледки в района!

Какво да не пропускаме

Докато се изкачваш, не пропускай да спреш за почивка на няколко стратегически места, където природата се разкрива в пълния си блясък. На самия връх ще откриеш "зъба" – остра скална формация, която напомня гигантски хищен зъб, устремен към небето.

Оттук може да се види цялата Тетевенска котловина и множество съседни върхове – всичко това, обвито в тишина и свежест.

Обикновено преходът до Опасият зъб отнема около 2 до 3 часа в едната посока, в зависимост от темпото и броя почивки. Местните хора разказват легенда за гигантски дракон, който пазел региона и се крил в скалите край Тетевен. Според преданието, този дракон оставил "зъба" като следа от своето присъствие, преди да изчезне в планината завинаги.
